Just came from a lovely artist workshop between 8 Indian artists and a few Melbourne artists down at the Mornington Peninsula. I was there for three days talking, walking, and giving art a go. Must thank the Australia India institute for putting the whole shindig on. Was amazing getting the vibe of India through such experienced artists. In this photo is Veer Munshi, Gargi Raina and Mithu Sen.

Took this sneaky shot of Grayson Perry whilst visiting his show at the British Museum. He happened to be sitting in a corner of his show getting interviewed when I visited.. Grayson scoured the Museums artifacts for about 2 years digging out things he dug the most and placing them alongside his own wild ceramics and sculpture, makes for the most enjoyable show I've seen in ages.

saw this painting Sonja, by Christian Schad today at the Neue National Gallery Berlin, an amazing collection on show Modern Times- 1900-1945.
I listened to the headphones on this one and Sonja was a secretary in Berlin, that's about all I can remember, and she's finished her pack of camels that were the new trendy fags of the time and she's polished off her bottle of wine, and stares straight through the viewer, with dark rings around her eyes. The painting went well with the swingin' 20's music they had on the headphones.

Can see why dad became a geologist, he's in his element here in Scotland. The city of Edinburgh just commissioned this amazing work by Martin Creed(the Scotsman Steps), its a stairwell and each step is a different type marble, such magic colour and patterns as you journey up the hundred or so stairs.

love these little flower stalls that are usually just off to the side of the hustle and bustle in KL, down a laneway or on the side of the road next to a Hindu temple. A string of jasmine flowers costs just 50cent Australian, hang it in the temple, around you're neck or in the car to keep things smelling sweet.
