1901 was a really busy year for lil' Pablo and he painted heaps of tender portraits and people scenes like this one of his sister Lola when she was 17 and he was about 20, living in Paris and going back and forth to Barcelona when shit hit the fan.

was all romantic about monkeys until I was chased down the street by one gnarly little critter screaming at me, ran for my life, they are really fast, and have sharp teeth, a bloke on a motorbike swung by and kindly offered me a dink the hell out of 'monkey ghetto' .
