I love some of these big wave paintings of Raymond Pettibond. He keeps it simple and direct. Was lucky to see a big wall full of his work at the Hamburger in Berlin. Like a little retreat amongst the really contemporary art with really contemporary ideas. Sometimes art is the best escape from art.
