mixing it all up, stripping it back and then painting over it to find the lacoste croc, Matlock Griffiths will show his painterly findings this week at Chapter House Lane in the city.
Opening this Thurs 5th of April. Chapter House lane is the laneway behind the big church on the corner of Swanston and Flinders st.

This painting 'Surrender' I did in 2009 has just reappeared as part of'Volume One: MCA Collection' curated by Glenn Barkley, on now in Sydney. It evolved from this little water-colour drawing. link
