Spent a lovely day at the Sanctuary of Truth on friday, its this new temple 33 years in the making so far and they think it will take another 20, fusing Thai, Cambodian, Chinese and Indian styles the entire thing is made from wood and is epic in its ambition. You go down there and guides take you around and inside the temple explaining many of the stories and beliefs carved into the wood. Something special about it, as soon as i got down there my energy levels were really high even though I'd just eatin oily fried rice for breaky. As you sit and look around there is the constant sound of sculpters chipping away at new bits they will add to the building.

took a trip up to Noks uncle Lung Daengs farm yesterday in Chonburi area, was lovely to get out of town and taste Thailands rainy season fruits. Sucked down these yummy roasted coconut juices on the way home.

love tea, doing a cup of tea painting at the moment. Some of these are from a book I was flicking through devoted to art inspired by tea.
