If you are in Sydney at all in the month of May, come and see my new paintings at Darren Knight Gallery. Opening Saturday 3rd of May 4-6pm, I'm happy I will not miss this one. The last one I had to rush to Bangkok for the birth of Larina.

Ricer Rinso's new show opens at Jan Murphy this week

I love some of these big wave paintings of Raymond Pettibond. He keeps it simple and direct. Was lucky to see a big wall full of his work at the Hamburger in Berlin. Like a little retreat amongst the really contemporary art with really contemporary ideas. Sometimes art is the best escape from art.

Nice little kitchen scene glazed on this old Italian plate I found in the op-shop down the road. Our washing machine is in the kitchen and it tossed the plate on the floor whilst in spin cycle. Will have to resurrect it somehow...
