I made most of my Sydney art friends through MOP projects in 2003 in a group show Tristian Koenig curated. We all went up and watched Tristian hang the show between practicing his Tai Chi, then had the opening then beer and nibbles and walking around Sydney with Ron and George Adams, who amongst others still run the gallery.
Over the years Ron and George have been amazing to work with. They've never forgotten what arts about, making stuff and getting together to look at stuff and think about it a bit, before going out for a meal and a beer or lemon lime bitters
I showed these paintings up there in 2004. The gallery is celebrating their 10 year anniversary this week and have asked 10 artists from the mass who've shown there over the years to show some new work. Should be a great celebration. I've made this collection of works on paper for the show
Opening this Tuesday 5th of March at MOP, www.mop.org.au
